Say It!—A Christian Hack for Living Better

If you are Christian…

Say it aloud. Say that you have been lifted out of poverty because you have. Say that you have been lifted out of debt; out of defeat; out of bondage and disease. Say it!

If you don’t say it, you won’t see it. Say that the Lord is your wisdom and your sanctification and your redemption and your righteousness.

Refuse to observe lying vanities by keeping mute. Refuse to shudder at the petering bank statements and demand letters, that give a contrary narrative of who you are.

Hold fast to your proclamations for you also have to exercise patience after you have done the will of God.

No Matter How Bad It Gets, Meditate

Christ–the Anointed One and His Anointing–is not constrained by how bad a situation gets.

Look at Jesus. Four days Lazarus was dead but yet He asked that the lid of the grave where Lazarus laid be rolled away.  You know the story. Lazarus lived again.

If Jesus is God’s Word manifested, imagine the possibilities you can experience just interacting with the Word of God. And that’s exactly what meditating on the Word is.

If you can meditate on God’s Word about the solution to whatever challenge you are faced with long enough, and let it impregnate your heart with a ‘knowing’ that you are healed of that cancer, or free of that debt, you can bring that unseen into the seen; the divine into the earthy.
It doesn’t get bad enough for the Word of God not to work. Even a dead marriage, dead ministry, dead nation can be raised if you can meditate long enough.

Just put the relevant scriptures together and meditate!

How To Get Anything You Want

In Christ, you can have everything you have ever imagined; a beautiful family, happiness, health and wealth; and here is how:

By meditating on God’s Word about whatever it is that you want.

Trust me, the Word of God contains the anointing. And a quick definition of what the anointing is; is that it is a substance of God that destroys burdens and removes yokes (according to Isaiah 10:27) capable of delivering to you God’s intent in any situation, location or context.

Sickness is a yoke, and so is debt, the inability to find a spouse or pay bills when they fall due. It is a burden to have to endure depression, business failure or failure in your marriage. Everyone knows this because of the pain that comes with such circumstances.

Now, the Lord Jesus Christ (the manifested Word of God) came for one purpose alone: that we who believe in Him should have His life and live it to the fullest (See John 10:10 and 1  John 3:8); and not be subject to pain of defeat.

That said, to meditate on God’s word in the Christian context means to ponder, mutter, devise, confess and shout it until your spirit is bubbling up with it in your prayer and general conduct. It is how you bring the anointing, that yoke destroying, burden removing substance into your affairs.

So whatever you are faced with, get into the scriptures, make a list of what God’s anointed words say about it from the Bible and begin to meditate upon them.

In ending this piece, allow me to quote two scriptural references as the it is biblical rule that in the mouth of two or more witnesses, a matter is established (See 2 Corinthians 13:1 and Matthew 18:16)

  1. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful (Joshua 1:8)
  2. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. (1 Timothy 4:15)

Everything you have ever wanted, if meditated on for long enough, will be manifested to you. Don’t struggle like the rest of the world. You are different.

Take time to study Matthew 6: 31-33. Meditating is the way to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

Christ Is The End of All Effort

Many times, we hear sermons or read the Bible and miss the import of what’s being taught.

Sometimes, it is the noise of Old English–the language in which the popular King James Version of the Bible is written in. At other times, it’s approaching God’s word without  the Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, every scripture passage is inspired by God. And that, all passages are useful for teaching, for correction, for direction and for a course in righteousness.

That said, I want to elaborate Romans 10:4

‘Christ is the end of the Law, in order to bring righteousness to everyone who believes.’

The Law was about man’s performance; his ability to comply with or be like God, purely from his own effort. But Christ-the Anointed One and His Anointing-was God’s bestowal of everything; requiring no performance except to believe in the existence this gift of Christ through faith in the finished work of Jesus, the Son of God.

Nothing explains this better than in the Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32) when the the father of the older son, who was protesting that his father hadn’t as much as killed him a young goat and was now throwing a banquet for his younger brother who had just returned home from squandering his own inheritance said:

“You could have had anything you want son. After all, everything I have is yours.”

Many Christians today are like that older son; having everything and unable to use anything. Know this, Christ is our vast pool of health, wealth, relationships, destiny and anything you could ever ask for or imagine. Christ is the end of all effort. Believing right is all you need. Because with right believing, you will act right.

No matter what you are going through in your life, don’t fret, defer to Christ.

Christ is the Anointed One and His Anointing. Christ is the Person of Jesus. Christ is the Holy Spirit. Christ is the body of believers. Christ is the Word of God; the provision of everything.

Christ is all you need to have your needs met.

Your Destiny Is In Your Mouth

When you come across portions in the Bible like;

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.-Proverbs 18:21

But the righteousness of faith speaks thus: Do not say in thine heart, Who shall ascend to the heavens? that is, to bring Christ down; Or, Who shall descend into the deep (that is, to bring up the Christ again from the dead)? But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach: -Romans 10:6-8

They tell you something about who you really are after you become a Christian. These verses tell you that God has handed you the charge of your destiny. The same principle  and material He used to rebuild this world in six days (ask me if you want to know more about this)  is what He has handed to you. Honestly, many ‘help me Lord’ prayers are highly unnecessary. Continue reading “Your Destiny Is In Your Mouth”

Renew Your Mind

You mind is your greatest asset. At least, that’s what I have heard the pundits say over and over. But if you are Christian, your mind is your biggest assignment because for you, it is the limit of your awareness of God;it is the boundary of your awareness  of what’s possible when you believe.

Your mind is your greatest potential. Your thoughts are the doorway to your reality. What more can you use to shape your mind  other than the very word that created this world. If God could used it to create this world in six days, imagine how you can use it to create the balance, the prosperity, the change and the health you so desperately need in your life right now.

Your mind is the secret. You are being held back or propelled by it. Saying that you were born this or that way is a mind thing. If you change your mind with God’s word, you can change anything-your disability; your sexuality; your bank account; your contribution; your marriage…your life.

Do Romans 12:2. Renew your mind.

Marriage Advice-Try A Threesome!

This may be shocking but true.

When many people get married, they do so to be happy. Nobody gets married for most of the reasons they tell you they want to get hitched for. Some people think they are in love while others do not want to be alone as they get older. And others still, get married because they feel they are of age and its definitely the right thing to do.

Well the shocking truth as many find  is that the reason they got married was a spoof. It is why 50 percent of women regret their marriages. Marriage is not about happiness, rather it’s about growing.

It’s about growing into the person God designed you to be; that learning, loving and becoming that interdependent person who understands that marriage is a ‘give-and-take’ relationship; a support-and-be-supported framework among three people-God, your spouse and you.

But how does God come into the equation Nehi?

Simple. You use His word in the Bible as a standard for how you treat your spouse. For example, He says in Matthew 7: 1, ‘Do not condemn and criticize…’ Your role is to take that principle and apply it to your dealings with your spouse.

When you base your marriage on biblical principles, you literally invite God into it and trust me, He can calm every storm.

All of the problems you are faced with in your marriage right now can be carefully and deliberately overcome if you just make the adjustment that:

Marriage is a threesome.
