Many of their dreams and aspirations for the year became unattainable with things like rejection, the lack of capital or promises that weren’t forthcoming.
What I know for certain is that winners never quit and quitters never win…
But let the words of Sir Winston Churchill, a man somewhat in a difficult place during the Second World War form a part of you musing today…and maybe, strengthen your resolve to pick up the things you planned to accomplish this year:
Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.
You will win if you don’t give in. This is not the time to dig your heels in and wallow about how you tried. It is the second half and if you don’t pick yourself up, pursue and outrun, your won’t be able to take back all that doubt, disappointment and disillusionment have stolen from you.
This could still be your best year yet and for this very reason, you can’t be average. Average is for losers. Never forget it, nobody remembers average performers because it is not natural to.
It is time to be that phenomenal you or be forgotten. It is time to recover.
Have a great second half of 2017!
