3 Important Things That Can Transform 2016 Into Your Most Memorable Year Yet

Annus Mirabilis

Happy new month!

Thank God January is done and dusted. Someone said to me this past weekend:

If your are 35 and still poor, you are the absolute cause; not the economy; not your boss; not your spouse, but you.

February offers a time to set the ball rolling if you haven’t already. So here are 3 tips that can help you make 2016 your most memorable year yet.

  1. Do A Personality Test. First of all, to thine own self be true. Who are you? What uniquely delineates you from your peers? What should you be focused on; not dissipating your energy trying to be someone other people want you to be? What resonates with you in your soul that you should be doing with your life? All these questions have answers. Take Lanre Olusola’s personality test and you may just realize your ladder of success has been leaning against the wrong wall.
  2. Hone Your Discovered Gifting. After you have taken the test, you’d be certain who and what you are. Maybe you should be writing and not crunching numbers. Maybe you should be a business woman, not trying so hard to be a social worker. Now that you know, begin to hone your gifting. Create an action plan to practice your craft  or acquire cognate skills daily.
  3. Produce Something. Don’t wait until you have perfected your craft. Seriously, a lot of learning happens in the process of doing or creating something based on your gifting. It is like on-the-job training. Start a blog if you are a writer or create a service if you have the personality of an entrepreneur. Do something you can eventually learn to monetize.

Make February your best month yet; and 2016 your best year yet.
