Turn Your Shoulds To Your Musts

To achieve something different from the results you’ve been having over the past few years, you are going to have to change.

Many people think about change in terms of making New Year’s Resolutions or finding a new job or finding a new relationship. But no external change is ever lasting. You can’t change jobs or spouses and expect your life’s result to just shift.

All change must start in your mind; with your attitude about life. You can no longer be casual about the way you live your life; or have a casual work ethic; or let casual people  into your life.

This year, you are going to have to  be deliberate. You are going to have to turn your ‘shoulds’ into your ‘musts’ meaning you are going to have to form new habits and regimen.

If you are a writer, writing must be a ‘must’, come hell or high water-everyday. If you are a singer, you are going to have to practice singing everyday. Whatever your gift is, is going to have to be what you work on daily.

Turn your ‘shoulds’ to your ‘musts’.
